I almost started this post by saying, “Sorry about not posting in so long…” But who am I kidding? It’s my blog. I’m not that sorry. I’ve been busy, deal with it.

Now starts the real post.

The most recent powerball winner of $230+ million was from South Dakota. Crazy right? Here’s my 23,000,000,000 cents on the subject:

In the past few days I’ve had this conversation several times, “What would you do with the money?” Here’s what I’ve come to figure out – no matter what your answer is… you’re wrong. You have no idea what you would do if you won that much money, because it’s an incomprehensible amount of coin.

Here’s my checklist:
1. Don’t have a heart attack after reading and rereading winning numbers.
2. Don’t get murdered before claiming said cash.
3. Watch everyone you’ve ever met get money signs in their eyes.
4. Receive financial advice from everyone that talks to you.
5. Take one million, bury it, and make a treasure map.

Obviously I joke, but that really is because I have no idea what I would do.
